Coweta County is located Southwest of the Atlanta Metropolitan area in Georgia. As of 2000, the population was 89,215 people, 31,442 households, and 24,713 families. The 2007 Census Estimate placed the population at 118,936. The county seat is Newnan, Georgia. Coweta County is fortunate to have many facilities, parks and community centers to serve it’s citizens. Facilities range from football fields to tennis courts to walking trails and are scattered across the 400+ square miles of Coweta County.
